Kit includes:

4 x M8 - 11/32" Sleeves
2 x M4 - 3/16" Countersunk Screws
2 x M4 - 3/16" Panhead Screws

*If damage to plasterboard becomes apparent, discontinue use of baby gate immediately

Installation

Tools required: Drill: 8mm - 11/32" Drill Bit + Phillips bit / Screwdriver

Mark gate parts locations
Pre-drill holes with an 8mm - 11/32" drill bit
Insert plug into hole, press until teeth embed into plasterboard
Using a drill or screwdriver tighten screws

Works as described, but not with 2+ wall spacers.

These screws work great, but if you are using the provided screws with 2 or more wall spacers, then the screws are not long enough. I am currently trying to use 4 wall spacers, and the provided screws just turn and turn and turn. I will need to find longer screws to make the drywall sleeves work properly. I wish this issue was noted in the description above before purchasing, but alas... I am not an unhappy customer, just disappointed, as I now have to wait longer to finish my gate installation.

Perma Child Safety

Thank you for the feedback! If using more than the 3 spacers provided in the box you will need to purchase longer screws, we could certainly look at providing a set of various lengths to avoid this customer inconvenience. The wall plugs in the box are not for drywall; they are for brick/concrete - this may also be affecting their effectiveness. We don't recommend mounting to drywall without further support with specific plugs.
